Hip Hop...

I've been commissioned by the lovely people at hipfans.com to produced some banners and graphics for the site, which obviously, I was only too happy to do! It's been really nice to have a proper brief again, instead of just making images for the sake of it (which I still love to do - of course). I'm pleased with the results as well, and they make a nice series, which is something else that I love!

I have a load of ideas for other images as well, so stay tuned for those.

Also, I have to say a massive Thank You to Trevor Connell for supplying me with some fantastic reference material as well! This guy is a very gifted photographer and a heck of a nice guy, and I urge you to check out his photography blog - especially the cat loving illustrators who occassionally read this. There's some photos of Annabelle that you'll want to see.

Winter Wonderland...

Well, it seems that my new years 'try and keep my blog updated' resolution has already fallen at the first hurdle - Go me! Anyway, I know it's late, but here's my Christmas card design. I'm really pleased with it, and it looked/looks great printed up. VistaPrint did me proud once again. (Is it just me, or does she look like pre-dreadlocked Lorna?!)
